What's in the lease?
How we handle a rental, in plain words. This is a summary, not the lease. We do not post the full lease online. The real lease is filled in when a unit is offered.
Pets
People always ask. Dogs in some places. Cats in most. Pets need written consent. If a pet is approved, there is a nonrefundable pet deposit and monthly pet rent. Those amounts are in the lease. We will tell you when you apply.
Term
Always 1 year.
Rent
Due on the 1st. Late fee is $5 a day if rent is not received by the 1st. Returned payment is $35, plus any late fees that apply. You can drop a check or money order in the drop box at 104 N. Center Street. No cash.
Security deposit
We will tell you the amount when you apply. Returned within 30 days per Pennsylvania law, less any lawful deductions.
Utilities
Heat and utilities differ by unit. See the property listing. Ask when you apply.
Occupancy
Default maximum is 4 people.
Smoking
No smoking indoors or within 20 feet of the building.
Lockouts
$35 daytime. After hours, you pay a locksmith.
